Job Description

Strategic & Operational :

1. Lead Generation and Qualification:

  • Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels, including inbound inquiries, outbound calls, and targeted research.
  • Collaborating with marketing to convert marketing-qualified leads into sales opportunities.

2. Product Knowledge:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our automation solutions and effectively communicate the value proposition to potential customers.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to position our products effectively.
  • Product sales track record preferably in the industries of Mining, Cement, Steel & Power plants, Infrastructure, Oil companies.

3. Sales Outreach:

  • Conduct proactive outreach to prospects through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels.
  • Engage with decision-makers and influencers to understand their needs and present tailored automation solutions.

4. Sales Presentations:

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, demonstrating how our automation solutions address the specific needs of potential clients.
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

5. Sales Pipeline Management:

  • Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Regularly update and document all sales activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of customer information.

6. Negotiation and Closing:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and negotiate terms to secure successful deals.
  • Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets.

7. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with customers through ongoing communication and support.
  • Gather feedback to contribute to product improvement and customer satisfaction.

8. Market Research:

  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay informed about industry developments.
  • Provide feedback to marketing and product teams for continuous improvement.
  • Constantly enriching information about potential opportunities for prospecting by Studying Industrial journals, Industrial Magazines, business news.

9. Other Desirables

  • Able to travel extensively without any restrictions in Mining, Steel, Cement, Construction / Infra, Oil Industries to the territories if required.
  • Proficiency with Ms Office.
  • Creating and refining a qualified and productive prospect list - This requires constant work.
  • Identifying the sources for getting contact number of key people for prospecting
  • Making the first contact virtually to establish the context of Hectronic and qualify the prospect.
  • Setting up subsequent conference calls and online meetings for Salespeople (post

qualification)
