Assistant General Manager - Treasury & Banking - Manufacturing Industry - CA (10-20 yrs)

Position : Assistant General Manager - Treasury and Banking - Well Known Manufacturing Industry - Navi Mumbai

Responsibilities:

- Payments & Treasury Lead will be responsible for overseeing the operations such as payment processing, bank reconciliation, fund transfer, banking documentation, system related entries

- Cash management: Managing vendor payments / Service Vendors both Domestic as well foreign

- Advances both Domestic as well foreign

- Statutory payments - such as PF, TDS , GST

- Payment to Government authorities such as Railways

- Trade finance: Handling trade finance activities such as opening letters of credit for imports , Buyers / Suppliers Credit

- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with internal and external policies and regulations. Monitor documentation process for compliance with agreed policies

- Financial reporting: Providing financial reports to senior management

- Banking relationships: Maintaining strong relationships with banks and financial institutions

- Monitoring: Monitoring of Vendor advances / bank reconciliation process & open items

- Co-ordination: Co-ordination with Plant & Corporate stakeholders ensuring timely closure of open bank entries / old vendor advances

Cash flow reporting:

- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in processes and systems, and make recommendation to improve the efficiency and service levels of the team

- Automation: Identify areas of automation/ digitization and implement to bring in efficiencies

- People Management: Lead diverse teams of Payments, Reconciliation and Trade Finance

Educational Background and Work Experience :

- Chartered Accountant with minimum 10 years of experience into Treasury/ Banking/ Payments/ Reconciliation

- Experience in SAP enable environment and vendor Ledger-Must have

- Experience in shared services/BPO would be an added advantage

- Knowledge of manufacturing industries (Steel, Cements, energy or Ports)

- Experience of automation, standardization and digitization
