Lab Manager (satellite Labs)

The Lab Manager performs his duties diligently and methodically to complete tasks allotted to him. 

• Overall responsibility of technical operations of all sections of laboratory.
• Observes all laboratory safety precautions in the handling of clinical specimens and running of tests.
• Maintains integrity in testing/reporting/confidentiality
• Follows the ethics and Quality policy of the organization
• Continuously upgrades his knowledge and skills as per the requirement of the job.
• Monitoring Performance of all the equipments in the Lab.
• Conducting internal training sessions/ seminars and coordinating for external trainings for staff.
• Calculating actual consumption of stocks versus the number of tests performed.
• Review effective and rational utilization of kits and equipment.
• To monitor new instrument installation and their validation/verification.
• Monitoring Validation/verification of new tests parameters.
• Inter department coordination with Field Operations, Admin, IT, LIS team, Quality Assurance, Customer Service team
• Writing and review of Standard operating procedures.
• Ensuring proper maintenance of equipment’s by the designated staff including daily, weekly and defined periodic maintenance
• Ensuring regular and timely Calibration and preventive maintenance of these instruments by vendor in coordination with concerned engineer.
• In case of machine breakdown timely troubleshooting and escalating the issue.
• Ensuring timely running and reporting of EQAS sample and taking corrective action for any outlier or deficiencies in EQAS results.
• Escalating identified issues timely to designated HOD/ Senior Lab OPS team
• Timely Reporting of Sample Tests as per TAT
• Ensuring TAT of outsourced tests is maintained
• Timely checking all the pending report status in LIS
