Account Executive

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and account reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, vendor payments, and customer collections.

1. Bookkeeping & Reporting:
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Ensure timely closure of monthly and year-end accounts.

1. Audit Support:
• Prepare necessary documentation and reports for audit purposes.

1. Process Improvements:
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
• Implement best practices in accounting and financial management.

1. General Support:
• Provide support to the finance manager and other team members as needed.
• Handle ad hoc financial tasks and projects.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of tax laws and statutory compliance (e.g., GST, TDS).

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B.Com, M.Com, or MBA in Finance preferred).
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
• Certifications (Optional): CA Inter, CMA, or relevant certifications will be an advantage.
