Account Executive

Role & responsibilities

1. Manage all aspects of the accounting process using Tally software.
2. Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank statements.
3. Prepare and process month-end closing procedures, including journal entries and adjustments.
4. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records by conducting regular audits and reconciliations.
5. Process payroll and employee expense reimbursements accurately and in a timely manner.
6. Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
7. Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify areas of improvement and implement best practices.
8. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
9. Collaborate with internal teams to support financial planning and decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
3. Proficiency in Tally ERP software and advanced knowledge of accounting principles.
4. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
5. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
9. Prior experience in ledger maintenance and day-to-day accounting operations is preferred.
