JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To monitor the proper drug usage and preparation for anti drugs.

2. T o audit the prescription as per NABH Standard

3. To give regular rounds to all patients, who are getting chemotherapy in day -care facilities as well as inpatient.

4. To see the HCG protocols are properly followed on each case basis and to do necessary changes if deviation is there.

5. To attend tumor board meetings and documentation work must be thorough.

6. Should see that all the drugs which are kept at 2 degree Celsius to 8 degree Celsius should be strictly kept inside the refrigerator.

7. The chemotherapy drugs before dispensing should be checked with prescription.

8. The brands which are written on the prescription or told by the consultants should not be changed without permission of the concerned consultants.

9. All the chemotherapy drugs should be prepared inside the prescription chamber which is on the Ground floor in Tower Two in HCG Speciality Center, as per the proper directives for those medicines.

10. In the ward, should give regular rounds with consultants.

11. Any uncommon side effect seen in any patient, after giving chemotherapy drugs ,should be recorded by the clinical pharmacologist

12. Monitoring and prevention of extravasation.

13. To work as coordinator of clinical research activities in the unit.

14. Liasioning of clinical research activities with all the stake holders (internal and external).
