Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Greeting and Assistance:
  
• Welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
• Provide information about hospital services, directions, and waiting times.
• Respond to patient inquiries both in person and over the phone.
• Appointment Scheduling and Coordination:
  
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments using the hospitals electronic system.
• Confirm patient appointments and send reminders.
• Coordinate between patients and healthcare providers for smooth appointment flow.
• Phone Call Management:
  
• Answer incoming phone calls, direct them to the appropriate department or individual, and take messages as needed.
• Handle patient inquiries and route emergency calls efficiently.
• Patient Registration and Admission:
  
• Assist patients with completing registration and admission forms.
• Collect patient information, including personal details, insurance information, and medical history.
• Verify and update patient records in the hospital’s electronic database.
• Billing and Payments:
  
• Process payments for services and provide receipts.
• Assist patients with billing inquiries and direct them to the billing department if necessary.
• Administrative Duties:
  
• Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean and organized.
• Handle incoming mail, faxes, and deliveries.
• Assist with filing, data entry, and other clerical tasks as required.
• Collaboration and Coordination:
  
• Communicate with nurses, doctors, and other hospital staff to relay patient information.
• Work closely with the administrative and billing teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
