HDFC Securities - Technical Lead - React.js Framework (5-8 yrs)

Job Description :

As a Web Technical Lead, you will :

- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of web developers, providing technical expertise and fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project goals effectively

- Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of web applications using React.js, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and project timelines

- Build and deploy web applications from scratch

- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications

- Maintain clear and concise documentation of technical specifications, code changes, and architectural decisions

- Prepare growth plan for the team and help them achieve it

- Provide regular feedback for the team

We are looking for someone with :

- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in web development, with a significant focus on React.js

- Strong fundamental knowledge of the React library and JavaScript

- Solid understanding of Frontend technologies, CDNs, Load Balancing, Caching, Nginx, browser APIs, HTML, CSS

- Solid understanding of responsive web design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility standards

- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and web security best practices

- Proven experience in leading and managing development teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship

- Willingness to work in a startup like environment

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology

Following aspects would be a plus :

- Prior experience in FinTech

- Experience with server-side technologies like Node.js or backend frameworks like Express, Django or Rails

- Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux, MobX, and popular UI component libraries

- Experience with Full Stack development

- Contributed to open-source projects

- Contributed to React Native development
