Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Leadership: o Develop and implement business strategies to achieve companys long term & short term goals and enhance market share. o Collaborate & align the executive team to define objectives and operational plans. o Make sure to achieve company’s vision and mission. 2. Operational Management: o Oversee monthly / weekly / daily production operations across manufacturing, maintenance, R&D, and quality control & assurance to ensure efficiency and productivity. o Ensure high standards and adherence to production schedules, cost targets, and regulatory standards. o Optimize manufacturing processes and introduce innovative technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. o Implement 5S, Kaizen and Total Quality management at the plant. o Make sure to look after Preventive & Predictive maintenance at the plant and execute to ensure the machines runs smoothly and effectively. o Plan & upgrade the existing equipment’s to be as per the modern industry practice. 3. Quality: o To build and ensure the quality culture at the plant. o Ensure the coordination with R&D Tech transfer & NPD to commercial batches successful execution. o Follow the guideline and coordinate with quality team to ensure the effective QA/QC standard. o Ensure product deviation, stability checking and other testing are met as required by standard. o Ensure to close the market complaints with RCA & CAPA for any NC occurred by coordinating Marketing & Quality team. o Make sure that no recall or no product hold. o Ensure that all the operations are strictly adhered with proper documentation. 4. Team Leadership & administration: o Lead, Recruit, mentor, train, and manage high-performing teams across all departments. Inspire a multidisciplinary team to achieve excellence. o Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. o Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and development opportunities. o Establish a positive, results driven work culture. o Employee engagement and employee motivation at the plant. o Ensure to have control from security gate, CCTV access & other admin related concerns. Audit & regulatory compliance: o Oversee adherence to industry regulations and product quality standards. o Ensure all manufacturing and product activities comply with local (Gujarat) and international regulatory requirements. o Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulatory standards of FDA, GMP, USFDA, Factory Act, GPCB & legal metrology. o Handle internal and external audits like ISO, Any customer audits and so on. 6. Research & Development: o Collaborate with R&D teams to develop innovative, market-driven cosmetic products. o Oversee testing, trials, and approval of new product formulations. 7. Supply Chain & Vendor Management: o Oversee procurement, inventory management to ensure cost-effective and reliable supply chains. o Maintain a strong vendor relationships for the procurement of raw materials and ensure timely delivery of raw materials and supplies. o Optimize the inventory levels to balance the costs and meet the manufacturing needs. 8. Financial Management: o Manage budgets, monitor expenditures, ensure cost effectiveness across operations, analyse financial data and track progress against financial goals. o Drive profitability by optimizing resources, controlling costs, and identifying new revenue opportunities. 9. Sales & Marketing: o Work with the sales and marketing teams to identify customer needs and market trends. o Support the launch of new products through strategic planning and cross-departmental collaboration. o Strengthen the company’s brand and market positioning. 10. Customer Focus: o Focus on customer satisfaction through product innovation, quality, and on-time delivery. o Monitor customer feedback and address quality issues promptly. o Collaborate with the product development team to introduce innovative and in-demand cosmetic products. 11. Risk Management: o Identify potential risks in operations, finances, or compliance and develop mitigation strategies. o Ensure business continuity through effective contingency planning. 12. Health & safety environment: o Ensure the health, safety and environment policy and guideline and maintain the clean and safe plant with regards of GMP and HSE requirements. o Responsible for the health & safety of the employees and to make sure no critical incident. Qualifications: HCP WELLNESS PRIVATE LIMITED • Bachelor's degree / Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (cosmetics). • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the cosmetics or personal care industry. • Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams. • Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and supply chain management. • Knowledge of cosmetic product regulations and compliance requirements. • Excellent financial expertise and experience in budget management. • Strong problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills.
