Job description

Responsibilities:

• Define and oversee the technical architecture and design of Java-based backend systems tailored for financial services.
• Lead a team of backend developers to ensure architectural integrity, scalability, and security of financial applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into architectural solutions that meet regulatory and compliance standards.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools for building robust and scalable financial systems.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, guidelines, and best practices specific to the financial industry.
• Conduct performance analysis and optimization of backend systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in financial services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
• Extensive experience in Java development, including a deep understanding of design patterns and architectural principles in financial applications.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, high-performance backend systems for financial services.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architectures in financial applications.
• Familiarity with trading systems, market data feeds, and financial APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on delivering business value.
