Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our
finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily financial operations, including AR
& AP invoice management, bank and credit card feed reconciliation, interbank loan
reconciliation, GL review, payroll entry, budget preparation, tax filing, and expertise in various
financial software applications.
Responsibilities:
• Daily management of client emails regarding AR & AP invoices and queries, ensuring timely
responses and resolution of issues.
• Categorization and reconciliation of bank and credit card feeds, along with interbank loan
reconciliation.
• Conduct monthly GL (General Ledger) reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of
financial records.
• Entry and management of payroll transactions.
• Preparation and maintenance of budgets in coordination with the finance team.
• Utilize financial software applications including QuickBooks, Wave, Xero, Netsuite, Bill.com,
and Excel to perform daily tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Excel in accounting and bookkeeping tasks such as categorization, month-end closings,
reconciliations, year-end reports, invoicing, bill processing, and managing accounts receivable
and accounts payable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting and analysis needs.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance with accounting
standards and best practices.
• Assist in ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience working with financial software applications such as QuickBooks, Wave, Xero,
NetSuite, Bill.com, and Excel.
• Familiarity with payroll journal entries using reports from Paychex, ADP, Gusto, and Intuit.
