Job Description
- Work with category managers, R&D & Quality team to create RFP package, managing process and creating RFQs with suppliers.
- Support procurement leads with sourcing activities like supplier identification & evaluation, supplier selection, supplier onboarding, KYC completion, spend analysis etc.
- Conducts commercial negotiations with suppliers, including payment term, contractual obligations, Product Sourcing Agreements (PSA), Supplier Debit Policy.
- Prepare, update and maintain clean sheet costing for all parts with each supplier, keep it updated at all time based on defined frequency and as and when changes happens. SAP system to be updated on real time basis with follow-up for approvals as per DOA
- This position is responsible for key performance indicators for the suppliers and supplier corrective action plan.
- Works with SQE team to ensure NPI and PPAP is getting completed as per schedule and meets cost and quality requirements.
- Leads NPI activities from Procurement side.
- Supplier Management to ensure the resolution of issues in the timely manner.
- Execute Dept KPIs on (A) Near to factory sourcing (B) Alternate Sourcing to de-risk supply (C) Cost Savings Target through negotiations, alternate sourcing, VAVE ideas/actions
- Leading a team and coordination with all internal stakeholder to facilities the things.
- 100% compliance to Target / KPIs / statutory requirements /Audit observations.
- Acts as a liaison for all supplier issues and actions with other internal functions
