Job Title : Kafka Developer

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Kafka Developer with 5-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications while ensuring seamless data streaming and integration. Experience in the insurance domain is a plus.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain applications with a focus on Kafka-based event-driven architecture.

- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code to enhance system functionality.

- Implement new features and optimize existing services based on business requirements.

- Participate in system and application architecture discussions to drive technical solutions.

- Create technical designs and specifications for new features or enhancements.

- Write and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and system reliability.

- Debug and resolve technical issues, software defects, and performance bottlenecks.

- Conduct code reviews and enforce best coding practices across the team.

- Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities to maintain application security and integrity.

- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements.

- Work closely with DevOps teams for deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5-8 years of hands-on experience as a Kafka Developer.

- Strong experience with Kafka, Spring Boot 3, and Java 17 or newer.

- Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Jenkins, Sonar, Dynatrace, Kubernetes, Mockito, IntelliJ IDEA, Maven, and GitHub.

- Experience with Angular TS, AWS, and Camunda is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.
