Required Sr. Engineer Assembly For Medical Devices Plant

Role & responsibilities

• Leading shop floor team of supervisors for production quality functions
• Handling production operation in Assembly shop
• Meet daily targets of production, quality safety.
• Responsible for carrying periodic checks audits of production and quality systems.
• Responsible for driving cost saving initiatives for continuous improvements.
• Cycle time validation optimization, Layout study optimization, process balancing.
• Validation of processes in work cells/stations, Quality checks as per standards
• Documentations - Process Standardization, Check sheet Updation etc.
• Effective collaboration with other teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Knowledge of assembly process process Planning, layout optimization, Cycle time Study, feasibility Study.
• Responsible for the leadership and safety of production team members.
• Facilitate the daily/weekly production of all products ensuring all are produced efficiently, timely and in accordance to the quality standards.
• Review production records for accuracy and ensure all records are maintained properly.
•  Ensure the sanitation, housekeeping and overall cleanliness of the facility is in compliance with quality standards.
• Analyzing labour efficiencies and labor allocations to meet demand; scheduling vacations/time off; managing overtime hours; manage time keeping system.
•  Develop and motivate direct reports to improve the efficiency of their current duties and have clearly identified goals.
• Conduct/document regular communication, production and safety meetings to keep team members informed; encourage team member feedback/ideas.
•  Address team member issues and deliver corrective action to include behavior, safety, quality, GMP, sanitation, work standards and time infractions.
• Lead/Assist in team member orientation and training.
• Process flow study, Production Loss analysis, rejection cost analysis, cost of quality analysis, quality issue solution.
• Target oriented, Good Analytical Skills, Excellent interpersonal, communication presentation skills, Team player
• Preventive Maintenance/Troubleshooting of assembly Machine.
• Proper communication to down the line manpower
• Discussion for work environment improvements
• Proper reporting to seniors for any abnormality
• Good knowledge of BMR, SOP, WI, Process flow chart.
• Work on 5S, GMP, Kaizen, Poka-Yoka, RBA etc.

Preferred candidate profile

Age Limit-25-35 Yrs.

8-10 years experience in ASSEMBLY DEPARTMENT manufacturing of IV Cannula manual and automatic lines. Familiar with Pentagon Automatic Wing assembly. Setting of Semi-Automatic Tip forming machine, Needle fixing, collar forming, silicon tube cutting and Hub cover threaded stopper assembly machines.
