Placement Officer and Trainer

Position Title: Placement Officer
Department: Training and Placement Cell
Location: Harsha Institutions, with a primary focus on Harsha Institute of Management Studies (HIMS)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Industry Collaboration:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with HR professionals and key decision-makers across industries to create placement opportunities.
• Identify relevant industries and companies for placement tie-ups, focusing on sectors suitable for MBA and MCA graduates.
• Visit companies, conduct presentations about Harsha Institutions, and sign MoUs for internships, projects, and final placements.

2. Placement Drives:

• Coordinate campus placement drives, including pre-placement talks, interviews, and final recruitment processes.
• Ensure maximum participation from companies and high placement conversion rates.

3. Market Analysis:

• Research market trends to align training and placement strategies with industry requirements.
• Identify potential growth sectors and job roles for students.

4. Student Engagement:

• Collaborate with the Placement Trainer to understand students' capabilities and match them with suitable opportunities.
• Organize workshops and sessions to prepare students for placement interviews.

5. Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain records of placement activities, including company visits, job roles offered, and student placements.
• Submit weekly and monthly reports to the management.

Qualifications:

• Education: MBA or equivalent masters degree in HR, Marketing, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in corporate relations, HR, or placement roles, preferably in educational institutions.
• Skills:
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
