Physical Education Instructor

Role & rKey Responsibilities:

1. Sports Program Management:

• Oversee the physical education and sports programs across all departments in Phase 2 campus under BU and RGUHS.
• Develop and implement comprehensive sports schedules, training programs, and fitness initiatives for students.
• Ensure participation of students in intercollegiate, district, state, and national-level sports competitions.

2. Team Formation and Training:

• Identify and mentor students with potential in various sports disciplines.
• Form and train teams for sports such as cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, athletics, and other relevant games.
• Conduct regular practice sessions and organize friendly matches to improve skills and teamwork.

3. Event Organization:

• Plan, organize, and execute intra-campus and inter-campus sports events and tournaments.
• Collaborate with management to arrange logistics, facilities, and resources for sporting activities.

4. Student Engagement:

• Promote sports and physical education by encouraging maximum participation from students across all departments.
• Counsel students on the importance of physical fitness and its impact on their academic performance and overall well-being.

5. Infrastructure and Equipment Management:

• Maintain sports infrastructure, including fields, courts, and gymnasiums, ensuring they are safe and well-equipped.
• Manage sports equipment inventory and ensure timely procurement, repair, and replacement.

6. Collaboration:

• Work closely with department heads and student coordinators to integrate sports activities into the overall academic calendar.
• Coordinate with external organizations and sports bodies for student participation in external events.

7. Reporting:

• Maintain records of student participation, achievements, and progress in sports activities.
• Submit regular reports on sports activities, training programs, and team performance to the management.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed/M.P.Ed) or a related field.esponsibilities
