Level: Senior Secondary (Grades 11th & 12th)

Professional Experience: 5+ Years

Educational Qualification: M.PED (Mandatory)

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning and Organizing Sports Events:
  Develop and plan sports events and other physical activity-related assignments for students, ensuring they align with curriculum requirements.
• Curriculum Delivery and Teaching:
  Teach Physical Education to Grades 11th and 12th, following the CBSE curriculum. Deliver lessons that integrate exercise-based learning strategies tailored to curriculum standards.
• Evaluation of Students:
  Conduct assessments, grade students' physical performance, and provide evaluations of CBSE answer scripts when assigned by the Board.
• Physical Education Assessments:
  Track and evaluate students' progress in different physical education and sports-related areas such as motor skills, kinaesthetic application, and overall fitness.
• Parental Communication:
  Regularly communicate and collaborate with parents regarding students performance and progress in physical education.
• Goal Setting and Achievement:
  Assist students in setting and achieving physical health and education goals, encouraging them to reach their full potential.
• Sports Equipment Management:
  Ensure the availability of appropriate sports equipment and resources to facilitate student participation in physical activities.
• Sports Coaching:
  Coach students in the techniques and strategies of various sports, helping them acquire new skills and improve their performance.
• Student Motivation and Recognition:
  Acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of each student, providing constructive feedback to enhance their skills and participation.
• Encouraging Competitive Participation:
  Motivate students to participate in city, state, and national-level sports events, fostering a spirit of competition and sportsmanship.
• Safety and Technique Education:
  Teach students safe techniques for playing sports and exercising to prevent injuries.
• Collaboration with Other Teachers:
  Work collaboratively with other faculty members to ensure a well-rounded education that balances the mental, physical, and emotional development of students.

Expected Competencies:

• Experience:
  A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in teaching Physical Education, preferably at the Senior Secondary level.
• Leadership Skills:
  Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate, guide, and inspire students to adopt a healthy lifestyle and excel in physical education.
• Communication Skills:
  Excellent communication skills to engage students and interact effectively with parents, colleagues, and school management.
• Motivational Abilities:
  Ability to inspire students to achieve their physical fitness and performance goals, promoting enthusiasm for physical activities.
• Adaptability and Planning Skills:
  Expertise in planning lessons, sports events, and activities that meet curriculum standards while catering to individual student needs and capabilities.

  Proficient in coaching various sports, teaching techniques, and developing students' skills in a safe and effective manner.
