Job Description

As a Senior Dynamics 365 CRM Developer, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions, particularly in the D365 and CRM 2016 environments.

You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality solutions, involving custom development, integrations, and implementing complex workflows and business rules.

You will also work closely with business stakeholders and provide consulting expertise to ensure that business requirements are accurately translated into efficient and scalable CRM solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop customized solutions within Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 and Dynamics 365 environments.

- Customize CRM forms, views, workflows, business rules, charts, and dashboards to meet specific business requirements.

- Build and deploy canvas apps, model-driven apps, and implement Power Automate flows.

- Develop and integrate CRM plug-ins and workflow assemblies to extend the CRM system's functionality.

- Ensure seamless integration between Dynamics 365 CRM and other internal/external systems through API/web service development.

- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using C#, ASP.NET, and JavaScript in the development of custom applications.

- Develop .NET web services and web API applications to ensure smooth communication between CRM and external applications.

- Provide ongoing support, testing, and debugging of all CRM customizations and integrations.

- Handle deployment and migration tasks for CRM solutions across different environments.

- Lead business analysis and requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical CRM solutions.

- Provide consultancy and advice on CRM best practices, assisting in defining system architecture and integration strategies.

- Collaborate with project managers, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of CRM solutions.

- Work closely with a cross-functional team of developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects.

- Participate in peer reviews and mentorship of junior developers, ensuring knowledge transfer and adherence to best development practices.

- Manage the technical implementation of projects, including designing, coding, testing, and deploying custom solutions for clients.

- Integrate Dynamics 365 with various external systems using Azure and Power Automate for workflow automation and system communication.

- Ensure efficient data flow between Dynamics CRM and other business applications, following industry best practices.

- Ensure data consistency, quality, and integrity through various integration mechanisms and data synchronization strategies.

- Proactively maintain and optimize the Dynamics CRM environment, identifying areas for performance improvement.

- Apply system patches, updates, and upgrades to ensure the CRM system is secure, current, and performing at optimal levels.

- Maintain thorough documentation for all customizations, configurations, and integrations in the Dynamics CRM environment.

- Prepare and deliver technical and user documentation, including manuals and training materials.

- Provide reports on system performance, CRM project status, and support requests to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Experience :

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM/365 development, including CRM 2016 and D365 versions.

- Proven track record of delivering at least five Microsoft Dynamics CRM projects from conception to implementation.

- Expertise in customizing Dynamics CRM, including forms, views, workflows, business rules, charts, and dashboards.

- Extensive experience in .NET development, particularly with C#, ASP.NET, and JavaScript.

Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of Dynamics CRM product features (CRM 2016, D365), including custom workflows, entities, and security.

- Expertise in building canvas apps and model-driven apps within the Dynamics 365 platform.

- In-depth experience with Power Automate flows and integrating them within the CRM environment.

- Ability to develop CRM plug-ins and workflow assemblies to automate business processes.

- Experience with web services and web APIs development using .NET technologies.

- Solid understanding of SQL Server 2016 and ability to design and manage database queries for CRM customization.

- Familiarity with Power Automate, Azure, and cloud-based integrations (a plus but not mandatory).

- Familiarity with Team Foundation Server (TFS) for version control, project tracking, and deployment.

- Proficiency with CRM usage across different platforms, including Web, Outlook, Tablet, and Mobile applications.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving issues in CRM customizations and integrations.

Soft Skills :

- Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose practical, scalable solutions for complex CRM challenges.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
