Plan and conduct tool trials to evaluate performance and optimize machining parameters.
Perform metrology, including surface and form measurements on machined parts, using advanced optical metrology equipment such as profilometers, non-contact optical measuring devices, and interferometers.
Assist customers in addressing machining challenges by providing customized solutions and offering technical guidance to ensure optimal tool performance across various applications.
Conduct optical metrology, surface roughness, and form measurements on machined parts.
Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tool testing and trials, ensuring consistent testing methods to achieve reliable and repeatable results.
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations detailing trial results and customer feedback while maintaining accurate records to support future product development and decision-making.
Collaborate closely with Research and Development (RD) to provide insights for product enhancement based on trial outcomes. Share findings with Sales and Production teams to align efforts and meet customer expectations.
Qualification:
Experience Required : 2-3 years of experience in related field
Education : M.Tech/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering/ Production Engineering
Skills Required:
CNC operation,
Experience in optical lens manufacturing and Diamond turning is preferable
Hands-on experience with CNC machining, particularly in ultra-precision machining, is highly desirable.
Expertise in conducting tool trials and optimizing machining parameters is essential.
Strong ability to analyze and improve machining processes.
Proficient in operating ultra-precision CNC machines, especially in diamond turning.
Skilled in creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation.
Expertise in using and interpreting data from optical metrology equipment, such asprofilometers, non-contact optical measuring devices, and interferometers.
Proficient in MS Office with strong communication and presentation skills.
Familiarity with precision tooling and relevant industry standards.
