Senior Java Developer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Developer with 8-10 years of expertise to join our dynamic and innovative team in the fintech space. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, hands-on experience with microservices architecture, cloud technologies, and a deep understanding of fintech applications, including payment gateways, financial instruments, and banking platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain complex, scalable, and high-performance Java applications.
• Implement microservices architecture, ensuring efficient and clean integration with third-party services and platforms.
• Fintech Solutions:
• Lead the development of solutions involving payment gateways, transaction processing, blockchain technologies, and financial management systems.
• Collaborate with product teams to develop new features tailored for financial markets, investment platforms, and banking solutions.
• Technical Leadership:
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and software design patterns.
• Review code for quality, security, and performance, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
• System Architecture & Design:
• Participate in the design and architecture of high-availability systems and services.
• Optimize existing applications for performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver solutions within tight deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are translated into scalable and high-quality solutions.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application performance and developer productivity.

Key Requirements:

• Technical Expertise:
  
• 8-10 years of experience in Java development (Java 8 or higher).
• Strong experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
• Experience in API development, integration with third-party financial systems, and payment gateways.
• Fintech Domain Knowledge:
  
• Deep understanding of financial services, payment systems, and regulatory compliance in the fintech industry.
• Experience working with financial applications, blockchain, and digital wallets.
• Understanding of key fintech concepts like KYC, AML, and PCI-DSS compliance.
• Software Development Practices:
  
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency in test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket) and Agile methodologies.
