Software Developer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and infrastructure using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build, test, and optimize APIs to support both internal and external applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Manage and optimize databases, including SQL, MySQL and NoSQL solutions, ensuring data integrity.
• Knowledge in Node.js to support backend components and API functions as needed.
• Work with cloud-based solutions, specifically AWS or Google Cloud Platform, to deploy and scale applications.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and minimize downtime.
• Deploy services within containerized environments using Kubernetes, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Lead efforts in unit testing and integration testing to uphold code quality and system stability.
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers and other cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive, end-to-end solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues, optimizing systems for high performance.
• Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.

Required Skills:

• Java proficiency with extensive experience in Spring Boot for backend application development.
• Strong background in API development/Integration.
• Knowledge in Node.js to support backend functions and API development.
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.
• Proficiency in SQL, MySQL and NoSQL databases with a focus on performance and data integrity.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) for automated deployment.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes for containerized application deployment and management.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform) for scalable backend architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on system performance and optimization.
• Excellent communication skills with proven ability to work in cross-functional teams.
