Purchasing Executive

Role & responsibilities :

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Executive at HALDYN GLASS LIMITED in Vadodara. The Purchasing Executive will be responsible for managing purchase orders, purchase requisitions, purchase management, and procurement activities on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to identify and select reliable suppliers.
• Supplier Management: Build strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate favorable contracts, and monitor performance.
• Inventory Control: Optimize inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory.
• Cost Reduction: Continuously seek opportunities to reduce procurement costs through negotiation, value engineering, and other strategies.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that procured materials and services meet quality standards.
• Compliance: Adhere to procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Preference: Glass Container Industry
• 2+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Must know: Excel, MIS Reporting.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of international trade and customs regulations.
