Purchase Assistant

Role & responsibilities :

• Maintain strong working relationships with our vendors as well develop new vendors on time to time.
• Review purchasing agreements with vendors and maintain open lines of communications with those vendors
• Develop an active process for measuring supply inventory and determining purchasing needs based on requirements
• Stay up to date with industry trends and establish long-term purchasing arrangements with vendors when it is beneficial to the company
• Compare product deliveries with issued purchase orders and contact vendors when there are discrepancies.

Preferred candidate profile

• Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer or similar role
• Good understanding of supply chain procedures
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of market research
• Solid organizational and communication skills
• B.Com / BSc graduates are preferred.
