Job Objective:

To lead the civil engineering aspects of greenfield projects for Haldiram's FMCG facilities, ensuring on-time, within-budget project execution while adhering to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership:

- Oversee the civil engineering scope of greenfield projects from inception to completion.

- Lead and manage cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure efficient execution.

2. Planning & Design:

- Work closely with design and architectural teams to finalize project designs and ensure alignment with business goals.

- Conduct feasibility studies, site surveys, and risk assessments.

3. Budget Management:

- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost optimization without compromising quality.

- Track project expenses and prepare financial reports for senior management.

4. Compliance & Regulations:

- Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, environmental guidelines, and safety standards.

- Obtain necessary approvals from government bodies and regulatory authorities.

5. Vendor & Contractor Management:

- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers.

- Manage contracts, scope of work, and timelines with external partners.

6. Project Scheduling:

- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, monitoring progress and ensuring timely completion of milestones.

- Implement contingency plans to mitigate delays or disruptions.

7.Quality Assurance:

- Ensure high-quality construction and adherence to engineering standards across all phases of the project.

- Conduct regular site inspections and audits.

8. Stakeholder Communication:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, including senior management, contractors, and consultants.

- Provide regular updates on project status, potential risks, and solutions.

9. Team Leadership & Mentorship:

- Lead and mentor a team of civil engineers and project managers.

- Foster a collaborative environment to encourage innovation and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's or masters degree in civil engineering.

- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in civil engineering with at least 5 years in leading large-scale greenfield projects.

- Industry Experience: Prior experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or industrial projects is a must.

- Skills:

- Expertise in budget control, contract negotiation, and resource allocation.
