The ManagerF P & A is responsible for

• All Financial analysis post actual reporting and also prepare monthly forecasts in co-ordination with the commercial team and the Accounting and reporting team.

• Ensure that monthly tracker of KPI bowlers are updated as per scheduled date

• Work actively with General Manager and Finance Controller to help in finalizing the Annual budget for Hach India bookings, Shipments, Opex, Operating Profit and Working capital.

• Hold regular cadence with Accounting and Cross functional team such as Sales, Service, Supply chain, CS, HR, Marketing etc. to get inputs on market update, operational issues, and commercial updates and identify any risk or upside opportunity against Forecast.

• Ensure accuracy in preparing annual budgeting and submission in Oracle and One stream.

• Do profitability analysis by key customer, Service Revenue, Business verticals like Industrial and Muni etc.

• Make Sales productivity analysis

• Work out the customer list price with price increase target to mitigate the Transfer price impact and finalize the same with GM and Finance controller

• This position will be responsible for Direct and Indirect taxation like GST, Import customs regulation etc.

• Timely completion of Tax Audit and Tax Filing

This position is part of the Finance and Accounting Department located in Bangalore and will be Hybrid work model.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

This position will report into the Finance Controller for Hach and OTT India region including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Maldives. The position will head the responsibility of Financial Planning & Analysis and Tax compliance. The F P & A and Taxation manager will be responsible for preparing monthly Forecast of Bookings and Shipments in co-ordination with the Commercial team and submit the same to the General Manager and Finance Controller. He/she will also be responsible for preparing the monthly Forecast for P & L and Working capital and finalize the same with the Finance Controller and APAC Finance Director. In addition to monthly forecasting, the person will also work closely with the General Manager and Finance controller to prepare and finalize the annual budgets and get the same submitted in Oracle/One stream. This position will be responsible for Local Tax compliances such as GST, Direct Taxation and Import related customs regulations.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Chartered accountant with graduation in Financial accounting and commerce from a reputable University/college.

• Additional qualification of Cost accountant from ICWA would be preferred

• CPA from the USA will be an added value.

• Relevant experience of 5-6 years in Financial Planning and Taxation in a multinational organisation.

• Good hands on knowledge of Microsoft Tools.

• Knowledge of PBI will be an added advantage

• Experience working in Oracle or SAP is desired

• Should be a good team player within function and with cross functional team

• Excellent command over English speaking, writing and understanding international accents.

• Ability to handle difficult situations and manage the show or resolve the issue in the interest of the organization.

• Excellent knowledge and practical understanding of applicable Indian accounting policy, tax regulation, Indian accounting standards and US GAAP.

• Strong accounting background, especially revenue/expense recognition rules

• Independent and strong sense of integrity.

• Proficiency in analysis of financial results to identify variations and trends that indicate possible exposures and the need for countermeasures.

• Experience in strengthening Internal Controls.

• Working capital analysis and management.
