Background - FMCG Business
RPSG FMCG Business has made strong initial inroads by creating a new segment of snacks in the Indian market, with its brand "Too Yumm" In a short period the brand has established itself across India as a strong choice vis a vis of traditional fried. This was possible by bold investments in product design and go to market. The division also has forayed into traditional snacks and Ayurveda (Dr Vaidya's). The group is now in earnest to build the FMCG business in India through bold organic growth and acquisitions.
Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative professional to lead the brand and digital marketing initiatives for our Western Snacks (eg rings, multigrain chips), and Traditional Namkeens portfolio. The incumbent will be responsible for strengthening brand equity, driving consumer engagement, and delivering exceptional ROI across marketing campaigns. The role involves managing a sizeable portfolio, driving brand communication, and leading a dynamic team of brand managers.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Management:
- Define and execute brand strategies to drive awareness, preference, and loyalty.
- Manage the development and roll-out of packaging, product positioning, and messaging aligned with brand values.
- Conduct market research and consumer insights analysis to shape marketing strategies.
Digital Marketing & E-Commerce:
- Develop and manage end-to-end digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, social media, influencer collaborations, and content creation.
- Enhance the brand's digital footprint through data-driven strategies and innovative campaigns.
- Partner with e-commerce teams to optimize online sales and build brand visibility on digital platforms.
Integrated Campaigns:
- Design 360-degree marketing campaigns integrating traditional and digital media.
- Collaborate with creative agencies to deliver impactful campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize outcomes.
Team Leadership:
- Build and mentor a high-performing brand and digital marketing team.
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams (Sales, R&D, and Operations) to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
- Deliver measurable ROI and oversee financial planning for campaigns.
Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with external agencies, media partners, and consultants to drive excellence in execution.
Education & Skill Sets Required
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing or related fields from a reputed institution
- 8-12 Yrs of experience in building FMCG brands with some experience in New Age Marketing
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and consumer trends.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Proficient in marketing technologies, analytics tools, and performance tracking.
- Familiarity with media planning, brand communications, and celebrity endorsements
- Proven experience in brand building and digital marketing within the FMCG sector.
- Hands-on expertise in managing large-scale campaigns and digital platforms
