Job opportunity in IT department for the Manufacturing plant of Gufic based at Pithampur (M.P.).

Job Responsibility:

1. IT Infrastructure Management
• Install new computers, upgrade systems, install software, and provide hardware-related support.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure all IT equipment is operational.
• Provide end-user support at the site, both on the desk and remotely.
• Monitor server rooms, network structures, and firewall management.
2. User Management & Support
• Manage users for Quality Control Lab software, manufacturing systems, and web applications.
• Assign user groups, privileges, and policies, and verify access rights for business and desktop applications.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on new hardware and software.
3. Audit & Compliance
• Support external and internal audits by maintaining facility readiness and ensuring compliance.
• Explain IT-related responsibilities and SOPs during audits.
• Escalate data integrity and GMP violations to the Department Head and participate in investigations.
• Maintain documents per cGMP and GDP requirements.
4. Backup & Data Management
• Perform backup tasks, maintain backup logs, and handle restoration and archival processes.
• Execute planner activities related to backups, restorations, and preventive maintenance.
• Create and manage monthly/yearly folders and directories in standalone and server-client systems.
5. SOPs & Training
• Prepare, modify, and manage IT Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Develop and implement annual SOP training plans and GxP technical training in collaboration with section heads.
• Train relevant department personnel on IT procedures and systems.
6. System & Software Support
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Windows-related issues.
• Synchronize time on Stability Chambers, HMIs, balances, and pH meters.
• Configure software-compatible PCs and manage network printers.
7. Network & Cabling
• Plan and support network cabling, including switch dressing and wireless network setup.
• Coordinate with vendors for installation and troubleshooting of lab instruments and manufacturing equipment.
8. Vendor Coordination & Collaboration
• Work with vendors for CSV (Computer System Validation) activities according to guidelines and company SOPs.
• Provide remote GxP system access to vendors when required.
9. Facility & Inventory Management
• Maintain office IT assets, including trust device configurations.
• Ensure IT facility upkeep for audit readiness and compliance.
10. Qualification & Maintenance
• Perform network and server qualifications.
• Handle preventive maintenance and audit trail reviews.
11. Additional Requirement
• Understanding of GxP, cGMP, and GDP regulations.
• Experience in preparing and maintaining IT SOPs and documentation.
• Ability to support and collaborate during audits.
