Job Overview:
Planning - GIS Lead is responsible for leading Geographic Information System (GIS) operations for telecom,
transmission, NOC, and OSP planning. This role focuses on spatial analysis, mapping, and data management to support
network design, optimization, and deployment. The GIS Lead collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate
and actionable geospatial insights are integrated into decision-making processes and project implementations.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD Map 3D, or equivalent.
Experience with spatial data analysis, geoprocessing, and network optimization techniques.
Strong knowledge of telecom and OSP components, including fiber, PoPs, and transmission systems.
Familiarity with NOC tools and platforms that support GIS integration.
Understanding of database management systems (DBMS) like PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Oracle
Spatial, etc.

Soft Skills:

Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to interpret complex spatial data.
Excellent communication skills to present geospatial insights to technical and non-technical
stakeholders.
Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.


Skills And Competencies :
