This includes ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing laboratory personnel, overseeing equipment maintenance, and facilitating efficient workflow. Responsibilities : Supervision and Leadership : Manage and lead a team of laboratory staff, providing guidance and support. Assign tasks and responsibilities to lab personnel. Conduct regular team meetings to discuss ongoing projects, safety protocols, and other relevant topics. Safety Compliance : Ensure that all laboratory activities comply with safety regulations and protocols. Implement and enforce safety procedures and guidelines. Conduct regular safety training sessions for laboratory personnel. Equipment and Inventory Management : Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and proper use of laboratory equipment. Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering and restocking supplies. Coordinate with vendors for equipment maintenance and repairs. Quality Control : Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of laboratory results. Monitor and evaluate the performance of laboratory tests and procedures. Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of laboratory activities, experiments, and results. Prepare and review reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Collaboration : Collaborate with researchers, scientists, and other stakeholders to support ongoing projects. Facilitate communication and cooperation between different departments.
