Responsible for managing the lab, overseeing tests, and ensuring the quality of the tests performed.
Laboratory Management: Oversee the daily operations of the textile laboratory, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
Testing & Quality Control: Ensure that all textile materials are tested according to international and industry-specific standards (e.g., ISO) for quality, safety, and durability.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of lab technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of work.
Research & Development Support: Collaborate with the R&D department to develop and improve new textile materials and processes.
Process Improvement: Implement process improvements to enhance testing accuracy, reduce errors, and improve efficiency within the laboratory.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure all testing processes comply with industry regulations and standards. Maintain lab certifications and manage audits.
Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and maintain clear, concise reports on lab activities, test results, and quality assessments. Ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
Inventory & Equipment Management: Manage laboratory supplies, chemicals, and equipment, ensuring everything is stocked and in good working condition. Oversee the maintenance of lab instruments.
Collaboration: Work closely with the production, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure the timely delivery of lab results and to resolve any issues related to textile quality.
