Overview of job:
GroupM is the world's largest media investment company and are a part of WPP.
We are currently looking for a Talent Partner who will be responsible for driving talent agenda for one of our business units. You will be responsible for employee life cycle management, people development, retention and creating a differentiated culture for the agency that helps GroupM attract the right talent and grow in-house talent.
The individual needs to play a pivotal role in shaping the structure and culture for a dynamic agency. The individual should bring in Business Acumen, Capability to design and lead change management, bring future forward thinking on people skill acquisition and hiring.
Reporting of the role:
This role reports to the Unit Lead and Talent Lead

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months, you would have:
- Developed adequate understanding of the organization structure, key clients and stakeholders.
- Preliminary understanding of people analytics to be able to identify key call outs.
Conducted catch up discussions with all key leaders of the units/agency.
In six months, you would have:
- Developed strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- Identified key talent priorities to be addressed - immediate and future
- Structured people practices including regular employee connect, career conversations, communication, engagement
In 12 months, you would have:
- Developed an impactful talent strategy as per needs of the agency in alignment with overall HR strategy
- Implemented the priority talent agenda with the clear set impacts and KPIs
What your day job looks like at GroupM:
- Acts as a trusted advisor and counsel to leadership team on building transformative structures
- Be a key voice to create PRIDE at workplace
- Be a strong DEI leader and think through people first plans to create an inclusive culture
- Manage complex situations including timely people connects and actionable measures
- Lead certain national level projects pertaining to talent management
- Partner with recruiting on building a talent pipeline and ensuring timely hiring
- Instills discipline among staff in adhering to compliance requirements through a culture of ownership
- Invests in creating moments of celebration and inspiration that nurtures a sense of belonging and pride among the people
- Invest in People development plans with a focus on career development and performance delivery
- Creates checks and balances for headcount utilization, budget controls, hiring costs etc. works closely with the finance team to keep a track of budgeted headcount for all fee clients to ensure no leakage
