Head - Quality Control - Iron & Steel Plant (23-30 yrs)

Job Description:

- Monitoring of in process inspection activity of Rolling Mills.

- Review of Rolling plan & allocation of inspection route viz Visual, MPI, and Prickling.

- Daily review of material clearance activities for dispatch.

- Coordinating with PPC & Marketing - RO for clearing the material as per priorities given by Marketing - RO.

- Controlling WIP by planning rework activities on different machines.

- Updating & monitoring of product standards as per requirement of customers.

- Interaction with Customer, Branch and Plant.

- Co-ordinating third party inspection for clearance of material (RDSO).

- Generation of periodic MIS.

- Inspection/monitoring of Ultrasonic Compliance

- Monitoring & maintenance of ISO/TS QMS including periodic audits,

- Audit activities as per NABL Lab norms.

- Understand the Technical Specifications of the New Products and assess whether the Process can deliver the Finished Product

- Development of Technical Delivery Conditions Documents and related Processes. ( APQP & PPAP etc. )

- Educate the Production Team on the sensitivities / criticality of the end use Component

- Monitoring Daily development activities in Works and Branch.

- Ensuring that New Products Sample Lots are produced ( as per specifications ) & dispatched on time.

- Follow up with Customer for correction / acceptance.

- To organize Customers' visits.

- Perceive potential areas that may cause customers dissatisfaction and trigger necessary preventive action.

- To ensure customers satisfaction.

- Participate in the enhancement of Customer Relation Management.

- Ensure the integrity and timeliness of all data fed into SAP to facilitate inter- departmental requirements.

- Development and Coaching of Direct reports, Ensure the quality, acquisition and retention of Talent in the Team.
