Assistant Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Electrical Engineer with an ITI(Electrician) qualification and a valid B/C electrical license to support our electrical engineering team. The role involves assisting in the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring high-quality electrical work while adhering to safety regulations.

Role & responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including wiring, panels, and control systems.
• Support senior engineers in assembling, calibrating, and maintaining electrical equipment.
• Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults in electrical circuits, motors, switches, and other components using appropriate tools.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Follow and enforce safety procedures, including the use of PPE and proper handling of electrical tools.
• Assist in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Support senior engineers in preparing reports, maintaining documentation, and updating maintenance logs.
• Maintain an organized inventory of electrical tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical safety standards and best practices.
