Electrical Technician

Job Description:

Deliver reliability improvement projects and day to day reliability support as well as systematically update and optimize the preventive maintenance strategy to ensure safe operations and emphasize the ability of all equipment to function without failure, in collaboration with Sibelco plant maintenance, production and leadership teams.

• Roles and Responsibly:
• Electrical breakdown maintenance, Breakdown Analysis, predictive maintenance, preventive maintenance, and Industrial Automation.
• MTBF, MBDT, Data preparation, Critical spares inventory control and maintaining check sheets of machinery.
• Monitor maintenance of 33KV Outdoor Substation, 33/11KV, 11KV/433V Transformers, DG Sets, PCC, MCC, and APFC Panels.
• Monitor daily energy consumption for individual sections & breakdown analysis.
• Troubleshooting and maintaining of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) & PLCs (Siemens S7-300, S7-400).
• Knowledge on Motor starters and Instrumentation.
• Knowledge of UPS systems and plant earthing and Converters etc.
• Maintenance of Chillers, Air Compressors, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems and packing machines etc.
• Maintained dryers and their burner controllers.
• Knowledge on 5S
• Knowledge on Electrical safety.
• Ability to develop SOPs & identify risks in critical tasks.
• Operating and troubleshooting knowledge of SCADA
