Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced MST/Technician (Electrical) with an ITI certification and an Electrical License. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of hands-on experience in maintaining electrical systems, Diesel Generator (DG) sets, and HT & LT substations. The role requires technical expertise, safety awareness, and the ability to perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Maintenance:
  Conduct regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, including DG sets, HT & LT substations, transformers, and associated electrical infrastructure.
• System Monitoring:
  Monitor the performance of electrical systems to detect issues early and resolve them to minimize downtime.
• Installation & Repairs:
  Perform electrical installations and repairs in compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Preventive Maintenance:
  Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and longevity of electrical equipment and systems.
• Troubleshooting:
  Respond to electrical failures and breakdowns, performing diagnostic checks and resolving issues promptly.
• Testing & Commissioning:
  Test and calibrate electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Safety Compliance:
  Adhere to all safety protocols, standards, and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Collaboration:
  Work closely with other maintenance teams to coordinate tasks and ensure all electrical systems are functioning optimally.
• Shift Operations:
  Participate in shift work, including emergency maintenance during off-hours when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Educational Qualification:
  ITI in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  Electrical License (mandatory).
• Experience:
  Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, specifically in DG sets, HT & LT substations, and related systems.
• Technical Expertise: Sound knowledge of electrical systems, HT & LT substations, and DG set maintenance. Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Knowledge of safety regulations and electrical standards.
