Plant Head

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Head to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient plant operations, overseeing staff activities, and improving productivity. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Operations Management: Direct and coordinate daily operations of the manufacturing plant to ensure efficient and effective production.
• Staff Supervision: Oversee all levels of staff activity and performance. Provide guidance and support to ensure operational goals are met.
• Productivity & Performance Enhancement: Develop and implement strategies to increase plant productivity, streamline processes, and improve overall performance.
• Policy Compliance: Ensure all company policies, safety guidelines, and procedures are followed at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
• Training & Development: Provide training and educational materials to staff as necessary to improve their skills and knowledge.
• Equipment Maintenance: Monitor plant equipment, ensuring they are in good working order. Address and resolve equipment issues promptly, including repair or replacement.
• Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Apply strong root cause analysis skills to identify and resolve operational issues.
• Budgeting & Planning: Develop operational plans, budgets, and procedures to ensure plant efficiency and profitability.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve operational performance, reduce waste, and enhance sustainability.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Qualification: Any graduate or post-graduate.
• Experience: 4 - 8 years of experience in plant operations or manufacturing management, with a focus on improving efficiency and staff performance.
• Skills:
• Strong aptitude for root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Well-versed in operational management, planning, and budgeting.
• Leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and train staff.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Additional Requirements:
• Women candidates are preferred.
• Strong understanding of the 3M methodology (Muda, Mura, Muri) for operational improvement.
