Roles Responsibilities
Lead complete end-to-end sourcing procurement activities from RFQ, techno-commercial analysis, negotiation, and supplier nomination through top management approval, monitor development, testing sample qualifications, proto samples, capacity installation, and management.
Responsible for sourcing, procuring developing EV Greenfield projects.
Responsible for Global sourcing of parts with competitive prices for local suppliers.
Responsible for sourcing part development cost estimations for castings, Electronics, electrical electro-mechanical parts.
Developing new suppliers for new models and managing other activities like RFQ comparison sheet preparation, quotation, follow-ups, cost calculation finalization of suppliers till the release of LOI copy schedules
Supplier s evaluation, selection, and development for cost-effective purchase and quality improvements.
Supplier capacity mapping and development of supplier base to support plant production volumes.
Interfacing with design and development for prototype development understanding requirements.
Create BOM, components raw materials standardization, etc.
Part cost and tool cost settlement
Design review of new product concept drawing and final drawing using design for manufacturing (DFM) concepts.
APQP and sample approval of parts development by doing complete dimensional and metallurgical inspection by completing initial sample inspection reports(ISIR).
PPAP, APQP, Control Plan, Manuals, procedures, work instructions preparation, implementation control.
Responsible for Supplier evaluation.
MIS preparation and presentation to management.
Responsible for 4M change controlling process at supplier end.
Implementation of Kaizen and Poka-Yoke activity at vendor end for mistake-proofing.
Tracking and optimization of the initial investment cost for the new business collaboration.
Managing development works (from post-design stage to production line).
Stronghold in building standards of excellence and adopting benchmark practices during the execution of work
Possess strong technical knowledge to provide sound and insightful recommendations in areas of expertise to stakeholders and team members.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to design and implement strategies effectively to influence team members and stakeholders toward the accomplishment of set targets and goals.
Ability to identify the critical factors that provide hindrance in achieving greater organizational performance or customer service..
