Job Description

Tech Operations Associate

Graviton is a privately funded quantitative trading firm striving for excellence in financial markets research. We are seeking a Tech Operations Associate for our team in Gandhinagar. Graviton trades across a multitude of asset classes and trading venues using a gamut of concepts and techniques ranging from time series analysis, filtering, classification, stochastic models, pattern recognition to statistical inference analysing terabytes of data to come up with ideas to identify pricing anomalies in financial markets.

Description

Work on improving and maintaining pre-trade workflows with help from senior engineers.
Monitor production systems and processes to ensure smooth operation.
Execute tasks manually that cannot be fully automated, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
Assist the team with various adhoc tasks as they arise, providing flexible and responsive support.
Work in a high paced competitive environment.

Qualifications

A bachelor s degree in computer science or related field.
Basic knowledge of Linux and shell command-line tools.
Basic programming and scripting (Python/Shell) skills.
Good problem-solving, mathematical and quantitative reasoning skills.
Very strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Interest in trading and the financial markets.
