Job Description
- Procure Raw Materials (RM) and Packing Materials (PM): Purchase required for chemicals & packaging materials.
- Maintain Minimum Inventory Level (MIL): Ensure stock levels are kept at an optimal amount.
- Handle Replenishment: Make sure that inventory items are restocked on time.
- Store Stock Maintenance: Keep track of and organize inventory in the store.
- Stock Audit: Regularly check and verify the stock to ensure accuracy.
- Vendor Development: Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers for the supply of chemicals & Packaging material.
- Price Negotiation: Negotiate prices with suppliers to get the best deals.
- Maintain Vendor Database in ERP: Update and manage supplier information in the company's ERP system (like SAP).
- Raise Purchase Orders (PO) in ERP: Create orders in the ERP system and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with Suppliers: Work closely with suppliers to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Manage Inventory Team: Coordinate with and manage the store or inventory team.
- Coordinate with Internal Departments: Work with other departments within the company to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain Management Information Systems (MIS): Keep records and reports up to date as required by management.
