Senior Good Receive Note Specialist (GRN specialist - EPC)

Role Overview: The Senior GRN Specialist Global Operations will oversee the management and processing of Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) for global projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role requires close collaboration with procurement, finance, and project management teams to maintain streamlined GRN processes, support large-scale multinational operations, and drive continuous improvement in GRN workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• GRN Processing & Compliance: Accurately process GRNs for global projects in accordance with procurement policies and contract terms, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
• ERP System Management: Monitor and manage the GRN workflow in the ERP system (SAP), resolving any bottlenecks or delays in processing.
• Verification & Discrepancy Resolution: Verify received goods and services against purchase orders (POs), promptly addressing any discrepancies.
• Collaboration & Communication: Act as the main point of contact for GRN-related queries from regional teams and global stakeholders, fostering collaboration across teams.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of the GRN process.
• Documentation & SOPs: Develop, maintain, and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for GRN operations across global projects.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all GRN transactions comply with internal policies, audit standards, and global regulations. Generate and review periodic reports on GRN performance metrics (e.g., backlog, discrepancies, compliance trends).
• Document Management: Ensure GRN-related documents are accurately categorized, current, and easily accessible.

Required Qualifications:

1. Formal Education:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, IT, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in Supply Chain Management are a plus.

2. Knowledge & Experience:

• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in GRN processing, procurement, or supply chain management, with significant expertise in SAP.
• Proficient in SAP, particularly in the procurement, inventory management, and logistics modules.
• Experience in EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Maintenance) or similar project-based industries is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of Procurement & Logistics principles and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with global teams.
• Ability to manage high-volume GRN processing while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for reporting and analysis.

3. Technical & Skill Requirements:

• Expertise in the SAP MM module.
• Experience with SAP Project Systems and FICO modules.
• Proficiency in data management and analysis tools.
• Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel) for data reporting and analysis.
