Job Description

Our client is searching for a passionate and highly conceptual Creative Director - Copy to lead the charge on crafting compelling narratives for our diverse clientele. You'll have a knack for translating brand strategies into captivating stuff that cuts through the noise.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a team of copywriters: Provide constructive feedback, inspire creativity, and foster a collaborative environment where great ideas thrive.

- Develop and execute creative concepts: Collaborate with art directors and other creatives to generate innovative ideas that align with client briefs and brand objectives.

- Oversee copywriting for a variety of projects and mediums: This includes brand campaigns, websites, digital content, social media, video scripts, print collateral, and more.

- Present creative work to clients: Confidently articulate your vision and rationale, effectively selling ideas and gaining client approval.

- Ensure brand consistency: Maintain a deep understanding of client brands and ensure all copy aligns with their voice and tone.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with account managers, strategists, designers, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution.

- Stay ahead of the curve: Continuously research industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in copywriting to keep our work fresh and innovative.

- Manage and prioritize workload: Efficiently delegate tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 10 yrs of experience across Digital, Video, and Print. Minimum 7 yrs. agency experience.

- Should have at least 3+ yrs of experience managing a 10+ creative team.

- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.

Master's Degree in English, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.


- A portfolio showcasing exceptional copywriting skills across various mediums and for diverse brands.

- Solid creative ideation skills - the ability to crack and execute large scale cross-media campaigns is a must.

- Strong creative team management and development skills. Should be a natural mentor, culture-builder, and org-driven person.

- Client Presentation skills are a big plus, with a proven ability to win business from existing and new clients.
