Asset & Wealth Management Operations - Client Onboarding-Associate

JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The position of Client Onboarding Associate in Shareholder Services is ideal for someone who is interested in learning all the requirements for new clients to invest in various Goldman Sachs Asset Management products (e.g. mutual funds, alternative investments, separately managed accounts) and streamlining the process with a client service mindset. To successfully onboard client relationships, this role involves communication and coordination across many internal teams, such as Tax, Legal, Compliance, Sales and Service. This position requires adhering to laws and regulations, a thorough understanding of a client service/onboarding environment, and an in-depth knowledge of the industry, our client base, and our systems.

Lead complex and high-priority projects, and manage sponsors and stakeholders with competing priorities, resourcing levels and time constraints across all typical project phases:
Project initiation and scoping, including definition of plans and setting and managing realistic expectations for successful delivery with project stakeholders
Business analysis and requirements definition
Testing and implementation, in particular user acceptance testing
Ongoing project management and quality assurance throughout the project
Build and manage relationships with key project stakeholders in Operations, Engineering and Business
Assess and streamline Operations processes in order to mitigate risk or control issues and generate efficiencies
Provide support and advice to Operations management and project teams on project management tools and methods
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of professional experience
3+ years of project management experience
Be highly collaborative and strong consensus builder
Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills both written and oral
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience in vendor relationship management
Bachelors degree required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Accuracy, attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Strong analytical and project management skills
Good understanding of the financial industry
Compliance and/or regulatory experience a plus, not required
