Direct Sales


Basic Purpose of the Position


The candidate is responsible for achieving targeted sales closures at site and also generating customer walk-ins from the qualified leads assigned. The candidate is also involved in analysing competitors activities thereby devising strategies to counter them. Key result areas would be conversion of assigned leads to customer visits and conversion of visits to closures.


Responsibility Area


  • Ensures achievement of sales as per AOP & monthly/quarter plans
  • Closes sales bookings with customers
  • Proposes schemes to reduce slow moving inventory / facilitate fast movement of inventory
  • Drive new sales through loyalty/ referral/corporate sales channels
  • New lead generation through direct channels
  • loyalty/ referral/ corporate sales
  • Timely lead servicing of leads assigned on Salesforce
  • Ensuring assigned leads are converted into customer visits at site

Channel Sales


Role Specifications:


1. Lead Generation


  • Interacts with brokers / channel partners for generating and mobilizing more footfalls
  • Interacts with Channel partners (Brokers) to generate leads and customers continuous engagement
  • Proposes schemes for channel partners / customers to generate foot falls
  • Working on increasing network of channel partners outside Bangalore

2. Sales


  • Ensures achievement of sales as per plan as per AOP/ quarterly/ monthly targets
  • Closes sales deals with customers
  • Proposes schemes to reduce slow moving inventory & facilitate fast movement of inventory
  • Evaluate partner performance & monitor channel sales
  • Guide and train partners to accomplish set revenue and business target

3. Channel Partner Network management


  • Shortlists potential channel partner according to company criteria
  • Communicates company terms and conditions
  • Monitors channel partners for lead generation and conversion
  • Supports Channel Partners for post sales customer service

4. Sales Reporting & Inventory management


  • Managing & allocating the inventory to the channel partners as per their clients preference
  • Sends weekly/ monthly/ quarterly MIS on channel partners managed as per agreed timelines
  • Prepares reports as required by region/ HO for decision making

5. Customer Relationship Management

  • Responds to customer queries sent on mail within agreed timelines
  • Responds to complex / difficult customer queries that are sent on mail
  • Ensures all documents related to every customer are properly maintained
  • Addresses escalated customer related issues complains, queries
  • Forwards customer complaints to relevant functions and follow up for resolution 6. Process Improvement & Adherence
  • Identifies processes/procedures in own work area that need improvement
  • Recommends process improvement ideas to streamline efficiency/costs/productivity
  • Undertakes process improvement activities in own work area
  • Complies with company defined guidelines and processes
  • Adheres to project timelines
