What youll get to do...

We are seeking skilled Back-End Software Development Engineers to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain the foundational systems and services that power GoDaddy s global platform. Your work will be critical to ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability for millions of customers worldwide.

• Design, develop, and optimize back-end services, APIs, and systems that power GoDaddy s applications.
• Work with distributed systems and microservices to create scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, front-end engineers, and data teams, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to best practices in software development.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure system reliability and uptime.
• Contribute to architecture and design discussions, influencing the technical direction of our platforms.

Your experience should include...

• 3+ years experience in back-end development, building and maintaining complex systems and APIs.
• Experience in languages such as Java, Python, and Node.js.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS.
• Understanding of scalability, performance tuning, and caching strategies.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of security best practices, including authentication and authorization mechanisms
