Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with over 6 years of expertise in Software Quality Assurance, Test Automation, Manual Testing, and maintaining Quality Standards. The ideal candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions by implementing robust testing methodologies and adhering to industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Quality Assurance
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive QA processes to ensure software reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Analyze project requirements and create detailed test plans and cases.
• Test Automation
• Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts.
• Perform automated testing across various platforms and environments.
• Continuously improve test automation strategies to enhance efficiency.
• Manual Testing
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Execute test cases and document test results with clear defect tracking.
• Identify and report software defects and inconsistencies.
• Quality Standards
• Ensure all testing activities comply with defined quality standards and processes.
• Participate in reviews of requirements, designs, and test documentation to ensure alignment.
• Provide recommendations to enhance software quality and development practices.
• Collaboration and Reporting
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure clarity of project goals.
• Generate and present detailed QA reports, including metrics on test coverage, defect rates, and progress.
• Lead and mentor junior QA team members.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: 6+ years in Software Quality Assurance, including manual and automated testing.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or TestNG.
• Strong experience in manual testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, or C#) for test scripting.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance and security testing tools.
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps environments.
• Certification in QA-related fields (e.g., ISTQB or CSTE).
