We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage and oversee payroll operations, tax filing, and financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in payroll systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all payroll-related activities while contributing to the organizations financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Payroll Management:

• Process and manage the organizations payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with applicable wage laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Handle payroll adjustments, such as overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
• Payroll Systems Administration:
• Maintain and update payroll systems to ensure accurate data and functionality.
• Collaborate with IT or vendors to address system issues or implement upgrades.
• Train and support team members in using payroll software efficiently.
• Tax Filing:
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of payroll taxes in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Prepare and submit required tax forms, such as W-2s, 1099s, and quarterly tax filings.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and advise the organization on necessary adjustments.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and analyze payroll-related financial reports for management review.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and address discrepancies promptly.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support budget planning and cost management.
• Compliance and Audits:
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Assist with audits related to payroll and tax filings by providing required documentation and data.
• Employee Support:
• Address employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and deductions.
• Provide guidance on tax-related matters and help resolve payroll discrepancies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in payroll management and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, SAP) and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in financial reporting tools and advanced Excel skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
