Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Scientist with 1–3 years of experience to join our IT/Analytics team. The role involves analyzing and interpreting complex data to derive actionable insights, developing predictive models, and driving data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python, R, SQL, and Machine Learning, along with a strong foundation in Statistics and Data Visualization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges and contribute to the organization’s growth through innovative data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis & Interpretation:
• Analyze and interpret complex datasets to extract meaningful insights.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support decision-making.
2. Model Development:
• Build, deploy, and optimize predictive models using machine learning algorithms.
• Validate and refine models to ensure accuracy and reliability in solving business problems.
3. Data Management:
• Extract, clean, and preprocess data from various sources (databases, APIs, etc.).
• Write efficient SQL queries for data manipulation and analysis.
4. Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and data requirements.
• Present data insights and visualizations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Data Visualization:
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries.
6. Statistical Analysis:
• Apply statistical methods to evaluate data and validate business hypotheses.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in Python and R for data analysis and model development.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and managing large datasets.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms and frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Expertise in Data Visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, Power BI).
• Solid foundation in Statistics and Probability for data-driven decision-making.
• Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a Data Scientist role or similar analytical position.
