Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

To interact with departments to review and finalize all departmental budgets leading to the formulation of a comprehensive Annual Operating Plan. To drive the Preparation, analysis and monitoring of Strategic Plan through conduct of a Strategy Workshop. To drive business case evaluation and enable senior management to take value based decisions. To provide key inputs via MIS that would enable rational decision making.

Conduct of Workshops

To facilitate the AOP preparation process by organizing the BPC workshop. Arrange other workshops for SPG such AOP, AUCC (Capex Expansion) etc.

Timely completion

Analytics and MIS reporting

To proactively create discussion tools, sales analytics and AOP variance analysis for senior management and release comprehensive GHIAL War Room MIS (alternative months) to provide a comprehensive analysis for senior management.

Timely release of MIS

Pursuing Strategic Business Development anchored by SPG

  • Drive activates related to discussion related to potential investors and tenants for Hyderabad Airport city development Vis. Partnership with foreign companies, discussion on bulk land disposal with Indian players, Engaging with transaction advisers
  • Anchor all actives related to the approval /notification of multi service SEZ.
  • MOU- Strategic corporation with foreign players for the development of Airport City

Provide value add inputs as and when required.

Strategic support

Strategic Research, Reviews, Follow-ups, Special Assignments, Agreements, projects/cost reviews etc (for the identified departments)

Timely completion

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Supporting the Subsidies on Key Initiatives

To provide key strategic and analytical support to business verticals like Duty Free and MRO.

Timely completion of assignment/project

Aerospace Institute

Pursue setting up of Aerospace Institute working along with Aero-space BD team. With respective depts. to working on key improvement initiatives from GHIAL side

Timely completion

Senior management support

  • Finalise the agenda with CEOO/ GCMO/BCMO for the respective reviews.
  • Ensure alignment of Presentation of the different depts.
  • Ensure strategic initiatives/ Actions that need to be addressed at GCM / BCM level are highlighted.

Knowledge Sharing Sessions

Facilitate sharing of best practices & exchange of learning s from

international visits and organizing KSS Session

  • Ensure the best practices shared amongst sister organization i. e. DIAL, MCAC and Vice versa.
  • Ensure that best practices / learning from International Visits by Dept. are captured and inculcated in the organization day today activities.

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Interact with GADL Project Management for activities concerning HDFRL/MRO
Co-ordinate with External Consultants as required

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Interact with Finance team in relation to preparation of War room MIS
Interact with business development teams of Duty Free, MRO, Airline Marketing and other department for development of business cases / Special assignments
Coordinate with identified User departments of GHIAL during the preparation of AOP and other business initiatives

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate with MBA preferably in Finance & Strategy
Excellent communication, interpersonal and persuasion skills
Strong data interpretation / analytical skills

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

4-5 years of total experience with 2-3 years of relevant experience in strategy function or general management role in an infrastructure company
