Manager - Architecture Design

JOB PURPOSE

• designs are in adherence to master plans, manuals, project brief and business needs. The incumbent must align with
  the corporate development strategy on the real estate development, while assisting in running feasibility studies to
  support it The incumbent at this position shall be responsible for Design Management for multiple projects while ensuring the

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Design Management
o Overviewing Design Management for multiple projects.
o Assisting Sr. Lead in Concept & Schematic design
finalization.
o Finalization of Approval packages, Design Development
and Tender documentation.
o Detailed review of design documentation to ensure
adherence to design brief, Concept design, completeness,
interfacing with other internal and external stakeholders.
o Ability to optimize design and present alternate creative,
innovative & cost effective design solutions without
affecting design intent.
o Value Engineering
o Review specifications on technical and practical aspects.
o Ensuring systematic procedures, communication channels
and documentation is followed for all projects.

Appointment of external consultants/specialists
Provide assistance to Sr. Lead
o defining the work breakdown structure for the design
packages and formulating the project brief.
o Shortlisting the specialist consultants
o Conducting pre-qualification of prospective consultants.
o Finalizing the scope of work under all disciplines and
minimum list of deliverables

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Interacting with government bodies like AAI, Fire
Services, Municipal Authorities, Pollution Control
Boards, DUAC etc for approvals and regulation controls.

Asset Owners/external developers for interfacing to get
appropriate design inputs.

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

Internal stakeholders like Master Planning,
Connectivity, Land, Security, Operations, IT etc for
their requirements and inputs related to planning of
ALD projects.
Asset Owners/external developers for interfacing to get
appropriate design inputs.
P&C, Finance,

FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS

• Should have worked on the project worth 300-400 crores over 3 years
  Execution of approved projects including infrastructure of approx. 100-200 crores over 3 5 years

OTHER DIMENSIONS

• Exposure to coordinating with international consultants/design firms
  Should have worked in teams comprising 8-10 members having multiple skillsets.
  Exposure to multinational work environments and cultures.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

B Arch / M. Arch

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• 8-10 years of experience with a large real estate firm / multidisciplinary design firm/ architectural firm
  and having experience of large commercial offices, hospitality, Retail projects, master plan projects.
  Over 4 years of multi-disciplinary experience in architecture, interior design and project management,
  across residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, education as well as entire large masterplans /
  townships.
