Role: SAP BW & BODS Consultant

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience:
2-12 years of hands-on experience in SAP BW (Business Warehouse) and SAP BODS (Business Objects Data Services).
Extensive experience in designing and implementing ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing solutions in SAP BW.
Proven experience with SAP BODS for data integration, transformation, and data quality management.
Hands-on experience with SAP BW/4HANA and S/4HANA integration with BW.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in SAP BW modeling, including InfoCubes, DSOs, Composite Providers, Advanced DataStore Objects (ADSOs), and MultiProviders.
Proficiency in SAP BODS Designer, Data Integrator, and BODS Data Services for ETL development and data transformation.
Knowledge of BEx Queries, SAP BW Queries, Web Intelligence (WebI), and SAP BusinessObjects for reporting and analytics.
Experience with SAP HANA and integration with BW on HANA for high-performance analytics.
Additional Skills:
Familiarity with SAP Data Services tools for data quality management and data integration from various sources (SAP and non-SAP).
Experience with SAP Cloud Platform and integration with cloud-based data sources is a plus.
Understanding of SQL, ABAP (for custom extraction), and other programming languages for custom data extraction is a plus.
Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex issues in both BW and BODS environments.
Ability to perform system performance tuning for SAP BW models and BODS data flows.
Certifications:
SAP certification in SAP BW or SAP BODS is a plus but not mandatory.
Certifications in SAP HANA or SAP BW/4HANA will be beneficial.
Project Management:
Experience in managing SAP BW/BODS-related projects and delivering them on time.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
